How Did We Get Started?
Coastal Fireplaces began in 2018 at Waurn Ponds Homemaker Centre, where Eddie had a vision of creating a space for people to come in and experience the look of a luxury fireplace. Having already established a relationship and great reputation with Lopi Fires from a past business, we were able to begin our journey as an exclusive supplier of Lopi fireplaces.
In 2019, we extended our range to meet more of our customer‘s increasingly unique design demands. We added fireplaces from Cheminees Philippe, a modern French wood and gas fireplace manufacturer, and Modern Flames, an electric fireplace brand.
In 2020, our customers began spending more time at home, particularly in their outdoor areas. Naturally, we expanded our range to include outdoor fireplaces and firepits with Trendz Outdoor Fireplaces.
2021 was a big year for us as we moved into our Torquay showroom, held our first trades open night, and became the preferred provider of even more reputable luxury fireplace brands including RB73. These sought-after models are still flying off our showroom floor.
In 2022, we have over 50 working displays and have become the exclusive supplier for three new brands and added two new staff members to nurture marketing and supplier relationships.
